Mutants and Masterminds

Someone around here mentioned Marvel Super Heroes RPG.
But getting into the d20 (ok it's OGL actually but what the heck) spirit, has anyone in here played M&M?
What are your feelings of the game?

I've never gotten to play the game, but it looks interesting. From everything that I have heard, it's actually a really good game. I plan on picking it up whenever I get some spare $$$.

You should give it a shot, it's the only other RPG i have other than D&D.

And the point system is good enough to build virtually any comic book hero.

As it's one of the only Super Hero genre RPGs that I don't have, I'd like to pick it up. Unfortunately, Super Hero games aren't as popular with the people I game with as the old group was.

A friend of mine has it, and my first impression is of a solid and nice RPG, that I'll probably be playing in the next months.

No experience of game-playing to share for now.

So far, good first impressions. Seems that you can create pretty much most of the "main" style comic characters pretty easy. It's point based, so characters should be mostly balanced. I haven't gotten around to trying combat yet.

The damage system is an exotic one, but kind of interesting. Since it's also a variant for D&D in UA, I may be testing it in my next game.
