The Exact Change Only is one of the many tramps working the area in and around Glisten subsector (Glisten/Spinward Marches). Purchased by its captain and first officer in late 1115, the newly christened and refitted Exact Change Only entered tramp service as it slipped the moorings from Glisten Yards' refit docks on 003-1116, and has since then earned a nice amount of coin, putting its owners almost twelve years ahead on their loan payments.

Well, Veikko, we have two major time foci: per jump and per month.

Per Jump:

Revenue: 96 dton/pc available (48 dton of cargo and a jump-2 ship) at Cr650/ton-pc. 62400 Cr revenue/jump.

Costs: 40 dton fuel at Cr350/dton. 14000 Cr fuel costs/jump.
Berthing fee of 20 Cr/hull class - as ECO is 200 dton, 4000 Cr berthing costs/jump.
Starport admin fee. Cr 500.

Total per jump cost: Cr 18500.
Net per jump revenue: Cr 43900

Monthly costs:
Crew salaries: Cr 4600 (DG Baley has elected to pay himself and his crew on a half salary, half profit-share basis).
Loan interest: Cr 61614
Spare parts: Cr 3500 (saving up for annual replenishment)
Maintenance: Cr 3500 (ditto)

Total monthly cost: Cr 73214

On average, the ECO makes 2.5 jumps/month, giving

Monthly gross profit: Cr 109750
Monthly net profit: Cr 36536

That there profit is then divvied up four ways.
25% to crew (profit share)
35% to interest payments (always good being ahead of the repayment curve)
25% to ship itself (operating fund - retained earnings to pay for upgrades)
15% to owners (a subset of the crew in this case).
