Some old jokes about bright light...

PC: Doesn't the bright light blind the drow?
DM: Bright light????
PC: Yes, you know, I have that awkward casting method disadvantage, and when I draw runes to the air, my fingers emit a bright light, equivalent to sunlight.

Player: DM! DM! Can I have awkward casting method again?
DM: Yes, you can, but I will tell, what effect it will be.
Player: Can't it be some bright light?
DM: Yes, it can... It will be an aura around you. Will blind you, and other will get +3 to hit against you bacause you are well illuminated.
Player: Forget it, I will use a magic talisman instead, can I have the magic item list from the DMG?

Best used with 2nd AD&D, with Player's Option books
