| Warrior | Eberron game at #Eberron
Well, this is how I understand you're supposed to advert games. Anyway, I've already got one player and I'm looking for 2-3 more. I'll be DMing the new Eberron campaign setting from Wizards of the Coast. I'll either post the setup for a typed character sheet or use acrobat to make an editable pdf char sheet, that I'll put up on here for download.

Well, like I said, Eberron is a new campaign setting. The continent of Khorvaire (Where the adventure takes place), has just come out of a massive civil war, that laster over a century, so tensions are still high between the countries, and many suspect that another war is just around the corner. Many of the races is Khorvair develope what are called Dragonmarks. Special birthmarks that confer certain powers. As for technology, magic has superceded it. Vehicles powered by bound elementals of all sorts provide the fastest and easiest methods of travel. Also, in addition to the common races, 4 new races emerged over the course of the Last War (the name of the century long civil war). These races are the Warforged, Living, free willed constructs; the Changelings, a result of breeding between Doppelgangers and humans; the Shifters, the offspring of the now almost extict natural lycanthropes and humans; and the Kalashtar, a naturally psionic race of beings that a millenia ago were banished from the plane of Dal Quor, the region of dreams. Thats the basic synopsis. The rest is in the Eberron core book, which I'm sure you can find very easily. |

I downloaded the book today (gee, guess where) to see what it was about. Always looking for something new, I would be an Artificer, if you get a game going. Good luck pulling in players! hakootoko |

It would be awesome to have an Artificer. Counting you and TheElf, I only need one or two more players (I'm trying to keep the group relatively small). The only real obstacle, as with any gaming group, is setting all of us up so we have a time we're all online and can play. I'm hoping the players get roped in soon too. I'm really looking forward to running the game.

Seems to have been aawhile ago, good sir. I am however interested depending on when your session is. I must admit I have some work to do in this last month before I'm done my degree but I'm sure I can spare some time. Perhaps you'd be willing to take a 5th if you have 4? I already have the Eberron book and I'm a veteran player of 7-8 years (I can't remember) and an accomplished DM as well still running with his old town group online now (though it's getting busy of late).

It was late at night. Of course I couldn't be a veteran player of Eberron since it's so recent. I've done mostly Forgotten Realms, some Dark Sun, Birthright and also Star Wars. I'll probably have the most time free during the summer nights.
