Star wars D20

Ok can I get some help here? I am reading up and still can't find how force powers are given to characters. If anybody can help that would be wonderul. And id theres a rle playing game d20 or otherwise anybody doing I'm always oprn for gaming. Unless collage buts in.

In this I can help. Characters can only gain force skills and feats by
1) taking a Force user class such as Force Adept, Jedi Guardian, Jedi Consular
2) taking Force Sensitive feat [Note: those taking 1) auto get Force Sensitive feat allowing them access to the Force.]

Hopefully that answers your query.

What I ment was how are they given eg: like spells in D&D or something else.

I would have assumed you had the Star Wars Revised Core Rulebook. Force powers use Dnd3.5e skill systems (and there are a few Force feats that may adjust the use of such skills).
