The main characters are transfer students from other countries to Japan, they have only been there for a week or so when all hell breaks loose and demons break into our plain of existence. A week goes by and the attacks get worse and worse starting with a few random monsters and ending with demon armies. The schools having erected statues of the Shinto gods on their grounds 3 years prior are now have somehow received their protection. For some reason children of around age 15 to 19 start developing strange growths that end up being jewels growing underneath their skin which surface in a week or so after forming. These jewels allow them to use demon elemental powers unique to each student To gain more power in these skills they either have to defeat other students in combat and absorb their souls or destroy powerful demons of their own demon element and absorb them. The choice is theirs. Demon elements Chose at start Fire: 3d4 fire in a cone works as burning hands but 15 feet Ice: 2d6 ice in a cone acts as cone of cold but 15 feet Electric: 2d6 elec acts as chain lightening can affect 2 targets within 20 feet of each other Exorcism: Abolish: 3d8 on 1 creature, does not work on humans and reduced effects on more mundane creatures such as elves and dwarves. Reduced effect is 2d8. Must be good alignment. Speed boost: effect of haste allows for longer and high jumps Earth: Able to hurl a boulder for 3d6 but can not hurl boulders from man made materials so is limited to rock and dirt. Defense skill: +4ac armor bonus Lasts an hour. Must be neutral Alignment Not starter abilities You will be able to get all but teleport. Heal: Cure serious wounds levels up to next spell in cure wounds every 2 levels. Teleport: Duh Poison: unknown Mental: unknown Wind: 1d8 wind dmg in a line, knocks back opponents. Can be used to fly at higher levels and boost jumps at lower. The School will be an uneasy unstable community comprised of about 3 other schools as well as the main school. Mirai e Tsuzuku Kaze: dark gray 3 refugee schools Nekketsu: White ShizukaKouen: purple Tomiichi Murayama: green Adults rendered powerless with the lack of demon elements have taken a side role to the main leaders. Thus the school being run by children is prone to anarchy, fighting between schools, and rumors abound will keep the pcs on their toes. Mirai e Tsuzuku Kazes larger numbers and the leadership of the popular and strong Shingo Myamoto keep the school somewhat orderly. To absorb someone else’s powers you must declare combat before you attack (To prevent easy power gain from sneaking up and back stabbing everyone) but ganging up on someone and luring someone into a dark ally before you declare your intentions is quite ok. Useable classes are Fighter Rogue Barbarian Monk replace abundant step with wall run/kick and a fast sprite. Mimic the feat but it is not teleportation, no going through walls or up high unclimbable cliffs, basically not magical. edit purity of body so its +10 to resistance diseases resist. Feats after level 10 will be dealt with when we get there Ninja (ghost step is done by smoke bombs and can’t go past 13th level) Samurai Swashbuckler Scout Variant magicless Ranger from complete warrior Some magical classes based on demonic powers or the like will be available through events in the game but not from the start. Classes you may see in the future if you are lucky. Psionics Binders Anything you can give me a good reason to include in the future. I will try to work things in that fit with the plot. If feats seem a bit too out of place (Magical or overpowered. You are a normal human teenager) should be asked about before taking. I am willing to work with players and may change some things if needed. This game will be a 5 person game with times worked out when all players are together. It will be on weekends.
