I bought a package with Heroes 4 and its expansions since it was cheap, but they said it is a nice game, I wasn't so happy with it. It looked like very boring, and far less detailed than Age of Wonders line. Anyone can tell me when it will gets OK?

I'd prefer Heroes 3, Heroes is less detailed as whole serie though the idea is the same from M&M series. Having fun at Campaings then playing for hours on HOTSEAT, I remember my hours on Heroes 3 with hotseat and my fairly small amount of time with Heroes 4 with LAN

To me it was easy, yet super long, and very boring. In AoW I had a much better time, and much harder scenarios, this is why I prefer it. In AoW the most important thing is to decide what kind of hero you will have as your main hero. If you make a mistake with it, that can be realy nasty.

And I think the problem with Heroes 4 is simple: You might want 1-2 super strong heroes, and this makes your progress slower. | |
