Well, since a few threads have already been started about other games, it didn't seem right not to acknowledge the Fallout series. Two of the most replayable CRPGs I've ever played, it really got you absorbed in it's world, and when the final cutscenes rolled, I really got a great feeling seeing how my character had affected the world. On top of all that the series had perhaps the most perfect turn based combat system ever seen in a CRPG. And I still get a big kick out of the fact that in the first game you can actually talk the bad guy into killing himself. It's a close race between this and Planescape:Torment for my favorite CRPG. Fallout Tactics? Not bad, but nowhere near as good as the real thing. |

What can I say. It does my heart good to see more Fallout fans. No Mutants Allowed!

Fallout was amazing. i just picked it up from the shelves of a used game shop deciding hey why not it's 5 bucks and i was amazed at the quality of that game i absolutely loved those two, but tactics was a little to be desired. (probably because it wasn't rpg and no story involved) |
