| Administrator | New feat: Noble blood
The noble blood feat is something you can have at real low levels. It has several distinct advantages. The first advantage is that the player can select 3 nobility related (the DM can decide which skill is nobility related) cross-class skills, and treat them as class skill for the character. An added benefit is, that the character can take the Leadership feat without meeting the character level requirement. This feat isn't grant or allow the character to have any extra money, and doesn't mean that the character is first born, and can inherit anything. And it doesn't mean that he can get favors from his/her family. The feat has its drawbacks on the other hand. The character has to live like a noble, and accept some of the customs of nobility. This can cost him some money, and take away a part of his/her freedom. In love related adventures, it can happen, that his family plans a political mariage, and he/she would be forced to accept it. He might be forced to serve in a war, or other such benefits. Of course these drawbacks doesn't come without an advantage, the character has all the rigths that a noble has by the laws of the country. Of course there are some other feats that enhance the effects of Noble Blood. |

nice idea balancewise it doesn´t sound much unbalancing (there is a feat which makes a cc-skill a class-skill) here 3 skills there 1 skill ? not unbalancing ? the skills the DM will propably select are like : knowledge [nobility], knowledge [heraldry], knowledge [history], knowledge [geography] (well all knowledge skills via private teacher) but also sense motive, bluff, intimidate, diplomacy descipher script, gather information, Perform, ride, speak languages are in normal settings like wise to be granted, a good mix of very used and not so often used skills will make this in conjunction with the draw backs playable also good useable for adventure hooks, big daddy lord of ... sends his son/daughter to do whatever he doesn´t like / has no time for ![]() HA HA HA get the stick ![]() Z |
