Favorite Mechs

Ok, people. Let's hear it. What are your favorites in each class, and tech base. IS or Clan, Weight class, whatever.

Personally, I've always been partial to the Javelin (light), Phoenix Hawk (medium), Bandersnatch (heavy), and Devestator (assault).

If I'm forced to play Clan, which I don't do often, I'll always go with an old Jenner IIC.

I generally play clan, and my favorite mech is the Mad Cat / Timberwolf...very versitile mech with its different configurations...

When I have to play IS, I tend to stick with the Rifleman or Catapault...

Phoenix Hawk, Shadow Hawk, Thunderbolt...

Only real exposure to Clan mechs are from computer games, so I'm not really sure that counts.

I'm a big fan of Wolfhounds myself. I found that when I played lots of CBT we went for lots of IS mechs with XL engines, low armour and lots of guns so we could get a faster game. Riflemen are always fun for that sort of scenario...

Light - Javelin or Jenner
Medium - Griffin or Wolverine or Blackjack
Heavy - Archer and Maurader
Assault - Maurader II and Atlas (of course)
