hello eris =)
photoshop is a bit tricky to work in with a mouse, you tried to use photoshop and a tablet in conjunction for drawing?
i certainly know that our Elf is good in CC etc, sadly he is usually pretty busy but maybe...
I've been running a home campaign for about the last 12 years off a hand-drawn world map. I have decided that it's way past time to get this converted to digital so I can expand it, etc. Problem is, I'm no good with tools like photoshop and such, and was hoping someone could advise me which tool would be best to accomplish this in?
Failing that, would someone be interested in the project of converting this to either FM or CC? I would be willing to pay a small amount, or buy some gaming stuff of the mapmaker's choice and mail.

Where are my snacks, and where the heck is my BBQ-sauce ???
Do you have a scanner? Or some good digital camera?
That way we can see what kind of map you have and can work on a CC3 or FM version, or a good (layered, etc) PSD file
If the scan / set of photos is too big for an attachment, please upload it as a torrent![]()
I've got a scanner, I'll scan and post it on my website and link it.![]()
great, cant wait to see the maps =)

Sorry about the delay, guys. I had to find the runaway map before I could scan it!
Here's the map I did, and it's no great shakes, but I think it will serve for a starting off point. It's hand drawn and messy. I tried to clean it up a little, I hope it's readable.

Any advice or help would be appreciated immensely.
Oh yah - I did a map bit for one tiny piece of it in Fractal mapper. here's the link to it.

i am not sure if it will work. TheElf will surely be able to say if my idea works. so here is the idea:
load the scan into CC3 (or CC2) as some sort of background
add a new layer
on that layer trace your lines with CC-Tools
later remove the background layer if needed
(this idea should work in adobe illustrator)
