Margarine is better than nothing; Nothing is better than butter; Therefore margarine is better than butter; Equivocation at its finest.
Why do you quit?
Stress related issues at home, im feeling down right now and lost interest in the competition.

Also, I would like to share a story, you might remember it well. In months and years before we seen one thing: Someone said that in their favorite game you have a lot of flexibility, you can make many many different characters easily, and most character ideas can be turned to character sheets easily in no time, and you can get nice characters quickly. You are not only slow but say "[18:49:25] <Tauk> the characters are so similar, boring"
Sadly it is true for lots half elf bards (female ones), lots of other options that can fit these characters. So, is it ok if I say: You accepted that those characters would be boring and D&D4 is restricted when you choose a race and class and boring...
I am sure that using AD&D 2nd edition I can post lots of very different characters that would fit the requirements of round #3![]()
You should list your options then. No sheet, etc required if they are simple
You're being a bigot who is misquoting me; the rules set here easily allow a variety of 4E characters, someone who has actually read the book would know this. :/

Lets see my list of races if I would go in AD&D:Possible elven subraces used:
- Half elf
- Half dragon (different colors)
- Aasimar
- Thiefling
- Elf (mixed subraces)
Classes:
- High elf
- Grey elf
- Drow
- ...
And any multiclass combination, I would probably check if Bladesinger kit is a good idea or not.
- Bard
- Song wizard (and other magic users, specialists)
- Cleric (of various faiths)
If I wouldn't go to AD&D, I would perhaps see: MAGUS, maybe Earthdawn, Shadowrun, Rolemaster, MERP, ...
Noone asked, but if you would ask: "The Force" can also count as some kind of magic...
The character can be cute, or ugly.
Good, or cruel, can follow laws or can hate all rules.
Lots of settings, lots of nationalities, cultures, faiths, goals. Lots of social statuses, etc![]()
You can count the possible combinations.
As you see the current contest should be simple, since you can use lots of old characters and you can use some sample builds with a short story. The later can come straight from the book, you can use favorite NPCs from various modules in the early parts, and it can mke things pretty simple and easy.
The problem is the psychological constraint. When you believe all the options would be the same, your usual work isn't good and it is hard to make something good in the system you prefer and give up on doing 5 minutes of work...
