first off roll over minutes are NOT the end of the world. if you have THAT many unused minutes at the end of every month, maybe a pay as you go plan for your family is the way to go. sure, it might be a bit more expensive, but, you won't have unused minutes EVER again!

cell phone commercials seem to be equally crappy everywhere
here flatrates come more and more, first for classic landline based telephony since a good year or two there are also cell phone to cell phone flatrates (different net, same net, to landline based net).
data flats are also coming (some arent really flats since speed gets capped after 5 GB traffic)...

Sometimes they limit your bw not based on your transfer but based on what do you do. This way they try to make sure they don1t have to deal with p2p traffic.

They prioritize, and anything that gets through their proxies, etc. gets full bw, anything else gets low bw? Good luck to torrent with a http proxy...
would steaming of video / audio, web downloads, larger emails and FTP transfers also be affected by an http-proxy?
