Iron Kingdoms

Hi. Have you ever played Iron Kingdoms and would you recommend it? Are there any similarities with the Arcanum CRPG?

not really answering your answer but:
i can never stress how good the Monsternomicon book is, wheter you play any specified setting or not, it is a excellent game complement.

Regarding Iron Kingdoms, i don't play pre-made campaigns, so i can't really begin to even answer your question, but i have heard extremely good remarks by 2 DMs concerning the setting.

I have not played this setting, but then I dont play D20, but I have read most of the books cover to cover now and can thoroughly reccommend them based on the content. They are well written, illustrated and have what I think is one of the best new settings for a long time.

I know someone who is crazy about Iron Kingdoms. Love the setting, can't get enough of it. That being said, I've never read it. ;)

Its well worth a read, the Witchfire Trilogy Adventure books are awesome and an excellent introduction to the world of the Iron Kingdoms.
