the tiny joystick on such remote ... does it only send yes/no left - right - top - down or does it send how much you pull the stick in a direction 0-100% ?
yes/no would just plain suck for mech warrior

Bluetooth isn't that new, here are maany excellent bluetooth keyboards, mice, etc. to choose from
About different kinds of controllers: That isn't that new either.
And I think the controller for Wii is far from perfect.

The problem isn't with bluetooth, but with lack of intelligent toasters.
A good controller is accurate, Wii controller isn't accurate, isn't reliable, etc. and this is why I don't call it as a good controller. But many console games are a group activity, and while you use a Wii controller, even if it isn't the best for games, people can laugh at you, and can make it good for parties.

Although the Prologue version (translation money grabbing teaser for theose who dont know ...) has been released there has been little incentive for me to rush out an buy a PS3.
But ... with the impending release of "new" and cheaper versions ... i might see if I can pick up one of the early series that still can play PS2 games ....
