Can't Connect - Unable to connect to server (Connection timed out)

I'm using mIRC to connect, and have been able to in the past, but I've been getting the following error when I try and connect to any IRC server:

Unable to connect to server (Connection timed out)

I've tried checking the settings, and am not finding anything out of sorts, especially since nothing that I know of changed since my last connection.

u installed a firewall / winXP-ServicePack 2

try to connect via this IRCserver: Dreamer.Eggdrop.hu

I've been trying to get back to Enerla.net and have even tried DALNet.

I have installed XP SP 2

tell the winFireWall to allow mIRC all access it needs

if it doesn´t work, go on :

www.enerla.net

or

www.enerlanet.info

on the left side select chat, and contact :

TheElf, SD, Shriek, FullBorg or me
